Jason Aldean Offers Prayers for Las Vegas Shooting Victims: ‘It Hurts My Heart’

Monday, October 2, 2017

Jason Aldean, the country music star whose performance at a Las Vegas music festival on Sunday was interrupted by a deadly mass shooting, offered his “thoughts and prayers” to victims.

“Tonight has been beyond horrific,” Aldean wrote on Instagram just hours after the deadly attack at the Route 91 Harvest festival outside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. “I still don’t know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe.”

The singer added, “My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night. #heartbroken#stopthehate”
